I have a question concerning exporting a report to Excel. We have a report that the client runs daily and has been running since 2012 (on SSRS v2008). Some of the rows have 2-3 lines of data, and there has been space between the last line of one row and the first line of the next row (not an extra row, just space in the row itself).
They recently asked me to make some of the columns narrower in order to print each page of the report on one page (not all columns always have data). I did that, but now there is no white space in the rows. Rows with multiple lines are densely packed and the users have a hard time looking at the data.
Is there a way to add extra space into a row to separate the data from the next row? I did try the report in our new SSRS 2016, but the result is the same -- no whitespace.
