Does snapshot isolation make read uncommitted, read committed and repeatable read obsolete?
I understand why serializable is the 'safest' but can create locking problems. Thus the various 'read' isolation levels. But it seems like snapshot solves most of the locking problems while not not creating the concurrency problems you find in the other 'read' isolation levels.
